While we have no problem with people posting DDL links and shit (afterall none would post anything illegal, riiite ?), were getting tired of all the random shit being posted from random shady sites. Therefore short term bans shall be issued if you use a DL site to proast something, keep in mind the mods will take a look at it. If the site has you jump thru hoops to DL shit, expect a shortterm ban. This also applies to rapidshit, as its best for shortterm shit, and that means your 'awsome' DL link dies a wek after you post it, which is gay for those folks that come later on to DL it. If you don't know anything but rapidshit, try megaupload or mediafire.

Sharebee should be the default uploading manager used here. I don't give a shit if you use Megaupload, as it doesn't even make you wait, but Rapidshare is going to be discouraged. If you use it, have a good reason. If you don't have a good reason, a short block will be imposed. If you still don't learn from your short block, then you will get a longer block. It is not rocket science. Rapidshare sucks unless you have a premium account, and most of the things being up/download here people don't want to be attached to their credit/debit cards. Yeah Sharebee is a bit spammy, but all you need to get around that is noscript for firefox. It is a multi host uploader, AND it even uploads to rapidshare so there is absolutely no reason why Rapidfags should have a problem with it.

I propose that posts on rapidshare should be done on a (free! proxyable!) "Collector's account" so they don't die so readily.
